Harbour City Veterinary Surgery has been providing veterinary services to the local community for over 20 years. We are an integral part of the community and pride ourselves on providing excellent veterinary services to our regional area.

There is a supportive group of veterinarians and very experienced nurses and receptionists who make up our close-knit team. We enjoy working together and having a team approach to our cases and the workday. We also have another Apiam clinic 30 minutes away in Boyne Tannum which allows us to share resources, staff and on call.

The clinic is well equipped with digital x-ray, IM3 dental, dental xray, Idexx biochemistry and haematology, Imagyst cytology, in house laboratory, excellent working relationship with local pathology lab, ultrasound and all the other beeping machines.

We are a companion animal only clinic and see an amazing variety of interesting cases. Recent graduates will benefit from our regional clinic by getting to experience a broad range of medical, surgical and emergency cases.  You will not just be doing vaccinations all day; we really do get to see it all here with the closest specialist centres for referral 6 hours away.

Gladstone is a fantastic part of Queensland that people often don’t get to appreciate. We have everything here from beach to bush to the perfect climate. You can spend days exploring beaches, swimming in waterholes, watching dolphins and turtles, walking around the award-winning parklands or having dinner at beautiful East Shores. Enjoy the buzz and shops of a large regional centre along with the laid-back coastal atmosphere of central Queensland.
