We are a well-established and progressive mixed practice veterinary clinic offering general veterinary services for patients in the Hunter Valley.
The Practice has a large and close-knit team who enjoy working together. We have a great group of clients and we take pride in looking after the pets of our community.
Singleton Veterinary Hospital is located in the large riverside town of Singleton in the Hunter Valley. There are all the amenities you need, along with wine tasting, heritage walks and much more! The area is approximately 2 hours from Sydney and just over an hour from the Newcastle coastline.
As part of the Apiam Animal Health group of regional and rural veterinary clinics across Australia, Singleton Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal practice that prides itself on having a great relationship with clients, customer satisfaction and going above and beyond in patient care.
About the position:
- Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face.
- Welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.
- Managing appointments for clinical staff.
- Liaising with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling.
- Processing invoices and payments.
- Ensuring a neat and tidy presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
About you:
- We want a friendly and caring person to join our team and contribute positively to our team environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role is essential.
- Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential- having an affinity for animals and their care is most important.
- Must genuinely love helping clients, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a mature approach for tricky conversations!
- Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
