Samford Valley Veterinary Hospital is one of the expanding Apiam Animal Health group of regional and rural clinics that are committed to enriching the lives of animals, people, and communities. We strive to deliver excellence and our vision is healthy animals and happy people.

  • Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face.  
  • Welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.  
  • Managing appointments for clinical staff.  
  • Liaising with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling.  
  • Processing invoices and payments.  
  • Ensuring a neat and tidy presentation of the reception and waiting areas.  
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role is essential. 
  • Monday to Friday. Flexible hours. 76-hour fortnight.
  • Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential- having an affinity for animals and their care is most important.
  • Must genuinely love helping clients, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a mature approach for tricky conversations! 
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.  
  • Computer, eftpos and banking skills required 
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively contributing to a team environment.
