Quirindi Veterinary Surgery is part of Apiam Animal Health, providing veterinary services to country communities. Located in Quirindi, in the New England region of NSW, we are a mixed animal veterinary practice that offers a high level of veterinary care for all animals big and small! We provide services for horses, cattle, dogs and cats in Quirindi, Tamworth, Murrurundi and Nundle and the wider Liverpool Plains area.

Quirindi is located in a beautiful rural area close to the large regional centre of Tamworth. Quirindi has a great community with local amenities and essential services as well as a vibrant local culture of events and festivals throughout the year.

  • Part time- covering shifts on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
  • Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face.  
  • Welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.  
  • Managing appointments for clinical staff.  
  • Liaising with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling.  
  • Processing invoices and payments.  
  • Ensuring a neat and tidy presentation of the reception and waiting areas.  
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role is essential. 
  • Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential- having an affinity for animals and their care and welfare is most important.
  • Must genuinely love helping clients, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a mature approach for tricky conversations! 
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.  
  • Computer, eftpos and banking skills required 
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively contributing to a team environment.
