We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused, proactive and enthusiastic person to complement our team and provide front of house care to our clients and patients.
About Us:
Fur Life Vet Golden Plains is a purpose-built clinic located in Bannockburn in Victoria, 20km from Geelong and 90km from Melbourne. We have dedicated dog and cat consult rooms and wards as well as all the equipment to practise high quality medicine for our loyal clients and the community.
We work with a designated receptionist to look after our clients while we look after their pets. We have a highly skilled team that enjoy working together and can help you settle in and learn your role as our receptionist.
About the position:
- Permanent Full-Time Position for a Veterinary Receptionist
- Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face.
- Welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.
- Managing appointments for clinical staff.
- Liaising with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling.
- Processing invoices and payments.
- Ensuring a neat and tidy presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
About you:
- Customer service experience is preferred but we can help train the right person for the position.
- Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential- having an affinity for animals and understanding animal care is most important.
- Must genuinely love helping clients, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a mature approach for tricky conversations!
- Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Computer, eftpos and banking skills required. EzyVet knowledge would be amazing!
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively contributing to a team environment.
- A positive approach to work and being part of a great team and being welcoming and approachable for our clients.
