Warragul Vet (Formerly Devoted Vets) are a well-established and progressive mixed practice veterinary clinic in the west Gippsland region. We are a ten-vet practice with an excellent work culture. We enjoy what we do and are proud of our team and the services we provide to the local community.

We are in the exciting position of being a growing clinic and are looking for a new vet to join our team to help support this growth and provide a high standard of care to our companion and farm animals alike.

  • This position is for a CSU New Graduate Veterinarian who will be graduating in 2025.
  • However, we would be excited to speak to an experienced mixed vet who is looking to make a move to a new team.
  • Our case load is approx. 60% small animal, 40% livestock (70% dairy, 20% beef, 10% hobby-farmer). The position mix can be tailored to your particular interests.
  • After-hours requirements are one night per week and one in four weekends.
  • Tele-triage after-hours service to help filter after hours calls.
  • Team dynamic is very supportive with a wide skill set amongst the existing vets.
  • Very experienced large animal vets who do consultancy work to learn from
  • You are a mixed vet who wants to work in both fields as part of our great team.
  • A solid foundation in handling livestock and strong understanding of livestock husbandry would be ideal for this position.
  • You are a soon-to-be new graduate, with a strong interest in mixed animal and production work ready to work for a great clinic that supports you and invests in your interests.

You are a positive person who is capable of working efficiently and conscientiously within a team environment. Our team is very supportive and enjoy learning from each other.

We offer a competitive salary package reflective of our commitment to helping you with your work-life balance, including:

Base Salary of $75,000 + super for new graduates

Plus After Hours Allowance and 50% of Professional Fees
