Drive in Drive out potential from Perth- Accommodation provided

Fur Life Vet Bunbury (Harradine and Associates Veterinary Surgeons) has an exciting opportunity for a veterinary nurse to join our established hospital and team.

Our hospital has been locally operated for over 5o years and is an important part of the local community. We have a great team of vets and nurses and a great client base. We aim to provide a high standard of medical and surgical knowledge and treatment to our small animal and equine patients in a friendly, compassionate hospital environment.

Bunbury is a large regional coastal city without the Perth hustle and bustle but only 2 hours away from all the capital city services. We have fantastic schools to choose from, good retail, entertainment, and sporting facilities. For those who appreciate wine and gourmet produce, we are within easy reach of the Margaret River region.

We are looking for an experienced veterinary nurse to complement our
team however, we will also accept applications from trainee nurses with a
genuine interest in animals and pursuing career development.

This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consults, do basic pathology and assist in the equine side of our veterinary clinic.

Accommodation provided for drive in/drive out role or 3-6 months accommodation provided when moving to the area to allow you to find your own accommodation.

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree is preferred but we will also accept applications from clinically experienced nurses or confident and keen trainee nurses.
  • Well-rounded nursing skills and experience with training and mentoring other clinical staff is a bonus
  • Or experience with animals and a willingness to learn and take advantage of the training and career progression opportunities we can provide in Apiam
  • Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic.
