Our veterinary clinic is located in Smythesdale, a beautiful, small town located only 15 minutes to Ballarat, just over an hour to Geelong and less than 2 hours from Melbourne.

We have a spacious new purpose-built clinic which we are very proud of and a fantastic, friendly team.

About the Position:

We are looking for a full time, experienced veterinary nurse to complement our team.

We want a passionate all-rounder to implement their high standards of patient care and have the capability to fulfill surgery, hospital, reception and consulting shifts.

This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consultations and love all things nursing.

What you’ll need to succeed:  

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree
• 1+ years’ experience in a busy practice. Well-rounded nursing skills and experience with training and mentoring other clinical staff
• Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic
• Ability to work independently and work well in a team environment
