At Boonah Vet Clinic, we’re on the lookout for a passionate Companion Animal Veterinarian to join our friendly and growing team. Our clinic is part of the wider Scenic Rim Veterinary Service network, offering great support while allowing you the flexibility to create your ideal work-life balance.

Nestled in the picturesque Scenic Rim region, Boonah offers the perfect blend of rural charm with all the conveniences of modern living. Located just an hour and a half from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and 30 minutes from Ipswich, you’ll be able to enjoy the peaceful rural lifestyle without sacrificing easy access to city amenities.

The clinic is very well-equipped with in-house diagnostics, making it easy for you to provide the best care for your patients. Whether you’re treating a family dog or a farm animal, our clinic offers a variety of cases and the support you need to thrive in your role.

About the Position:

• 2-4 days per week
• No On Call
• Companion only position

While we are a mixed practice, this position is for a small animal-focused veterinarian looking to immerse themselves in the unique lifestyle of a rural community. You’ll be working within a team that supports both small and large animal cases, but with a strong emphasis on providing a high standard of companion animal care. This gives you the chance to establish deep connections with pet owners and enjoy the satisfaction of making a real difference in the lives of animals in our close-knit community.

About You:

We’re looking for a veterinarian who is:

• Experienced and confident, with a passion for small animal care.
• Community-oriented, excited to settle into a friendly, rural town.
• Self-motivated, comfortable working independently but within the support of a broader team.
• Eager to grow professionally and help us grow our small animal services for the Boonah community.

Competitive salary package with a FTE base salary of $90,000 – $140,000 + Super (dependent on experience. Pro rata for part time)
