About us:
- Victorian Equine Group (VEG) is very well-regarded, long-established specialist equine first opinion and referral hospital. We operate the Bendigo Equine Hospital, from which this position is based. The practice also runs at several locations remote to the hospital with vets based in Nagambie, Kyabram and Lancefield.

About the position:
This is a permanent position of approximately 38hrs a week.
The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for providing high level leadership to achieve the operational and financial objectives of the clinic.
- This position works in partnership with the Clinical Leads to develop and mentor team members to achieve high performance as well as implementing operational systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and patient care
- The Clinic Coordinator is also responsible for fostering a safe and collaborative workplace culture that encourages team members to develop and enhance their skills
- Effectively manage employee relations issues including workplace conflict
- Effectively manage client relationships
- Day to day management of the hospital site, equipment and fleet
- Responsibility for overseeing debtors and our accounts system
About you:
- Candidates already working within the equine industry are encouraged to apply. However, we are also welcoming applications from people outside the industry with a bachelor’s degree in business or similar degree or qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in team management, rostering and customer service.
- Practice management, business management or HR experience is advantageous
- A demonstrated track record of experience in leading and motivating teams is essential.
- Competent computer skills and user of MS Office programs and databases.

- Possess strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to interpret financial information.
- Ability to solve problems with varying complexity in a timely and appropriate manner.
